Checking Services

MidSouth Federal Credit Union offers a variety of services to maximize the utility of your checking account.

Direct Deposit

You can arrange to have your payroll, Social Security, pension or any other recurring check deposited directly into your MidSouth FCU checking or savings account. By doing so, you can eliminate the possibility of losing your check and avoid the need to stand in line to cash or deposit it.

Payroll Deduction

When you establish payroll deduction at MidSouth Federal Credit Union, money is automatically deducted from your paycheck and deposited in your savings account or checking account, or used to make loan payments. It's an easy way to save or to ensure that you'll never miss a loan payment.

VISA Check Card

Our Visa® Check Card combines the economy of a checking account with the convenience and versatility of a credit card. The Visa®Check Card is accepted everywhere that Visa® debit cards are accepted and can be used to withdraw money at most ATMs. But, because it draws money from your checking account, there are no annual fee and no interest charges (ATM charges may apply).

The Visa® Check Card is available with all of our Checking accounts.

To report a lost or stolen Visa® Check Card, please call 1-800-262-2024.

Overdraft Protection

Avoid the expense and inconvenience of overdrafts with overdraft protection from MidSouth Federal Credit Union. Overdraft protection is available on all of our checking accounts using your savings account or a pre-approved line of credit.
