Call Center Representative, Summer Smalls-Dalton, surprised long-time Forsyth Walmart employee, Sandra, with a $25 Visa gift card. According to Summer, “I wanted to thank her for being an essential worker. She’s always smiling and willing to help a customer find anything they’re looking for. Sandra always ends her interaction by telling you to ‘Have a blessed day’.”

Loan Processor, Lisa Herndon, delivered 4 dozen donuts to U.S. Renal Care, in Macon. The staff at the facility take exceptional care of their patients, all of whom are at a higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19.

MidSouth Community FCU’s VP of Support Services/CFO, Wade Williamson, gave a $25 Visa gift card to the Customer Service Representative for Sleepwell Medical Equipment, Calfee Marcus. She has shown up to work everyday during the coronavirus pandemic to help those with respiratory and sleep problems. The dedication Ms. Marcus has to her job certainly does not go unnoticed.

Marketing & Business Development Representative, Jarred Kelly, brought Dunkin Donuts to the staff at Pinegate retirement facility. This independent living community is located near Coliseum Northside Hospital, in Macon.

Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, the owner of Southern Sass DIY & Decor, in Perry, has been making masks for healthcare workers, first responders, military and essential workers. At last count, over 1,600 masks have been donated. To aid the efforts of reaching the next goal of 2,000 masks, Marketing Manager, Melissa Topping, donated materials for masks and ear savers.

Our Collateral Management Specialist, Benita Zeigler, delivered a beautiful bouquet of flowers to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Our Russell branch team members donated groceries to InCommunity‘s Bear Branch Autism Home, in Kathleen. Since 1979, InCommunity has provided community-based services and support to people with developmental disabilities and their families.

Team members from our Milledgeville branch gave over $200 in gift cards to the Baldwin County – Grady EMS. Grady EMS is the 911 provider for Baldwin County and the preferred provider for Oconee Regional Medical Center. The area director said his staff has been working many hours and that with the use of the gift cards, he was able to provide a meal to his 30 employees.

Team members from our Human Resources and Lending departments joined efforts to provide lunch for the staff of the PruittHealth nursing and rehabilitation center on Anthony Road.

During the coronavirus pandemic, Vineville Internal Medicine has been calling its patients who are over the age of 65 to see if they are in need of necessity items such as groceries or cleaning supplies, at no charge to the patient. Team members from our Hartley Bridge branch donated Visa gift cards to help the doctor’s office purchase additional needed items.

Loan Processor, Tina Pence, gave a $25 VISA gift card to the receptionist at Dr. Rosanna Carter’s office.

Our Senior Accounting & Operations Manager, Cissy Flanagan, and Operations Support Specialist, April Durden, created goodie bags for the staff at Regency Hospital Company. These healthcare heroes have been at the front lines of the hospital’s COVID-19 response. We appreciate their support and dedication to patient care.

MidSouth Community FCU President/CEO, Roy Bibb, gifted a Chick-fil-a employee with a $25 VISA gift card while she was working the drive-thru. We appreciate the safety measures Chick-fil-a has put into place to accommodate its loyal customers during the pandemic.

Lasseter branch teller, Dora Dixon, blessed her friend and neighbor, Ms. Cecila, with a $25 VISA gift card and cleaning supplies. Ms. Cecilia does so much for her family that Dora wanted to treat her with a special gift. Ms. Cecila was so touched by the act of kindness that she drove to the credit union to pass a “thank you” note to Dora through the drive-thru.

I.T. Network Administrator, Tyler Asbell, made the day of the Kroger Pickup (formerly ClickList) associate that was loading his groceries by giving her a $25 VISA gift card. Grocery workers have been essential during the pandemic, and we want them to feel valued.

Team Members from our Bass Rd. branch donated Dunkin Donuts gift cards to nursing staff at The Medical Center, Navicent Health.

Team members from our Lasseter Pl. branch, Collections department and Indirect Lending department donated their $25 VISA gift cards to the Loaves and Fishes Ministry of Macon. The gift cards will help the program purchase food items, bottled water, sanitizing hand wash and wipes.

Team members from our Watson Blvd. branch recently donated meals from Jersey Mike’s Subs to staff at Houston Healthcare’s Lake Joy Med-Stop to show their appreciation for these Hometown Heroes.

Mrs. Arthur has been our member for 46 years. Due to COVID-19, she was unable to have family visit from out of town for her milestone birthday. Our Hartley Bridge Branch Manager, Robin Neisler, made a special visit to see Mrs. Arthur and delivered a beautiful hanging basket to her.
