2024 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

MidSouth Community Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the recipients of the 2024 Tom Bentley Memorial Scholarship program.

Carter Shirey, of Perry, has been awarded the 2024 High School Scholarship. A graduate of Perry High School, Mr. Shirey will attend Middle Georgia State University this fall and major in exercise science. The high school scholarship is a $4,000 award that is paid to the recipient’s college in installments of $1,000 per year.

Jenna Fuller, of Macon, has been awarded the 2024 Continuing Education Scholarship. Ms. Fuller, a 2022 graduate of Mount de Sales Academy, is pursuing a degree in biology at Middle Georgia State University, with plans to attend medical school after graduation. The continuing education scholarship is a $2,000 award that is paid to the recipient’s college in installments of no more than $500 per semester.

This year’s Scholarship Committee was comprised of Beth Byers, Executive Director of Development at Middle Georgia State University; and Tonya McClure, Assistant Vice President for Advancement at CGTC.
