The Johnny Appleseed Jr. Ecology Club savings account is designed especially for young savers ages 12 and under. The program combines saving money with ecology and environmental information. An account can be opened for as little as $5, with $100 being the minimum to start earning dividends. A Share Certificate can be opened with an initial deposit of $500. Upon enrolling, the child receives a Johnny Appleseed calendar and apple bank. Having a birthday? Johnny Appleseed members will receive a postcard on their birthday.
