Read for the Record 2019

Our staff recently read to students at Ingram-Pye, Springdale, Quail Run & Veterans Elementary Schools in honor of Read for the Record. Jumpstart’s Read for the Record brings together millions of adults & children around the world each year to read the same book on the same day in order to raise awareness about the importance of early literacy. This year’s selected book was Thank You, Omu!, by Oge Mora. Several Middle Georgia school districts partnered with United Way of Central Georgia to open their classrooms to hundreds of volunteer readers.  #RFTRCG19
